September October School Holiday Activity Line Up
We have a fantastic line up of activities planned for our school holiday guests, great for the entire family… kids, teens and adults too!
Outdoor Cinema:
Bring a picnic rug or chairs and enjoy a family movie on the lawn, under the stars. Screening on the first and second Sunday and Wednesday of the school holidays, this is a great way to spend an evening together. Delicious hot popcorn will be for sale.

Sandcastle Making Competition:
Hey kids, let your creativity soar and have lots of fun while you construct magnificent sandy sculptures down by the bay. Team up or go solo and build your dream castle, a beautiful creature or something even mythical – the only limit is your imagination. Simply send us a picture of your creation to bookings@peoplespark.com.au by 5pm on competition days. Winners will be announced the following day.
Colouring-In Competition:
Calling all budding artists! The colouring-in competition at Coral Bay People’s Park is the perfect platform for children to showcase their artistic talents. There are prizes up for grabs for the most imaginative and skilful artworks. See our friendly staff in reception to get the entry sheet to colour in, then email them through to bookings@peoplespark.com.au by 5pm on competition days. Winners will be announced the following day.
Sausage Sizzles:
Come and enjoy some tasty sausages and enjoy catching up with other park guests all while raising money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Hosted at the Ocean Front BBQ area on select days. A $3+ donation requested with all proceeds donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Wildlife Wednesday Photo Competition:
Channel your ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ talents and snap your best wildlife photo for your chance to win pure glory and a little prize! The early bird might catch the worm, or possibly those who wait for high or low tide or even sunset. So, get out there, observe and start clicking. Entries close each Wednesday at 5pm, so get your entries in
Fishy Fridays:
Take a photo of a fish you’ve caught and send it to bookings@peoplespark.com.au by 5pm each Friday of the school holidays. This competition is for the kids and biggest fish may not win – we’re also looking for sustainable fishing- if you’re not going to eat it…catch and release, stoked kids and a bit of humour.
