July School Holiday Activities

We have a fantastic line up of activities planned for the July school holidays, great for the entire family… kids, teens and adults too! Take a look:

Outdoor Cinema:
Back by popular demand (and because it gets dark early enough) our outdoor cinema series is on again during the July school holidays.
Check session times at reception, bring a rug and maybe a picnic and enjoy a family movie on the lawn.

Sandcastle Making Competition:
Head down to the beach and let the kid’s creativity soar as they construct epic sandy fortresses on the pristine shores of Coral Bay. With buckets, spades, and a limitless imagination, the kids can build their dream castles or sand sculptures while basking in the warm sun and gentle sea breeze. Whether they choose to go solo or team up with friends, this friendly competition promises hours of laughter and friendly rivalry. Simply send us a picture of your creation to by 5pm on competition days. Winners will be announced the following day.

Colouring-In Competition:
Calling all budding artists! The colouring-in competition at Coral Bay People’s Park is the perfect platform for children to showcase their artistic talents. From crayons to markers, every stroke will bring their creations to life. Not only will they have a blast, but there are also exciting prizes up for grabs for the most imaginative and skillful artworks. See our friendly staff in reception to get your entry sheet to colour in, then drop entries into reception or email entries through to by 5pm on competition days. Winners will be announced the following day.

RFDS Fundraiser Sausage Sizzles:
Coral Bay People’s Park brings you the ultimate culinary delight with our mouth-watering sausage sizzles. Treat your taste buds to the sizzling flavours of juicy sausages, served hot off the grill. Hosted at the Ocean Front BBQ area on selected days. It’s a two-dollar gold coin donation per sausage and bun, with great Aussie sauces to choose from. All proceeds are donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Last year our school holiday sausage sizzle fundraisers raised a record $2600 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service – and we topped it up to $3,000. Help us try and beat the record and come on down to enjoy a tasty sausage sizzle!

Wildlife Photo Competition:
Go in search of Coral Bay’s exceptional wildlife, channel your ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ talents and snap your best wildlife photo for your chance to win pure glory and a little prize! Simply send us your chosen photo to by 5pm on competition days. Winners will be announced the following day.

We look forward to welcoming you all soon at Coral Bay People’s Park, where laughter, adventure, and endless fun await these school holidays.
