Welcome to Coral Bay Peoples Park.

Our park began operating in the early 1970’s and we’ve been welcoming families, friends and travellers ever since – with a number coming back every single year!

We hope you enjoy our oasis, located just metres from the stunning turquoise waters of Coral Bay, in the spectacular Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area.

We look forward to providing you with friendly service and great facilities in the unique environment of Coral Bay.

7-day itinerary:

Day 1: Snorkel at Bills Bay. Head to the viewpoint in the late afternoon to watch the sunset

Day 2: Book a quad bike tour to Five Fingers. Head to Fins for dinner (BYO)

Day 3: Explore the outer reef through booking a tour

Day 4: Drive to Oyster Bridge and hopefully spot a Wobbegong shark

Day 5: Book a fishing charter and catch some dinner

Day 6: Drift snorkel from Paradise Beach to Bills Bay. Grab lunch from the bakery and explore the local shops

Day 7: Stroll to the Shark Reef Nursery at high tide to see baby sharks from the beach (Between October– April).

4-day itinerary:

Day 1: Drift snorkel from Paradise Beach to Bills Bay. Head to the Shark Nursery at high tide (Between October– April).

Day 2: Book a tour and swim with Manta Rays.  Enjoy cocktails in the sun at Reef Café in the afternoon.

Day 3: Drive on the 4WD track to Five Fingers to snorkel and beach fish. Head over to Fins for dinner (BYO)

Day 4:  Explore the reef by driving your own jet ski on a Jet Ski tour.

Park and Town Amenities

Park Amenities

We offer a very popular, air-conditioned, campers kitchen complete with good sized fridges and freezers, hob tops, toasters, kettles, a microwave and two sinks for washing up. The kitchen is nice and spacious, with ample seating for dining and a comfy seating area with couches and a large TV. We also have a book exchange in the kitchen. Just outside of the kitchen, you’ll find a BBQ area with al fresco seating.

Reception & guest parking is located adjacent to our shopping centre at the front of the park.

Park access is controlled by a boom gate so guests need to check in to gain access to the park

Peoples Park has four additional barbeque areas located throughout the park with dish washing facilities.

Peoples Park has two amenity buildings to service both areas of the Park. Each facility has toilets, showers, baby baths and laundry facilities. The Oceanfront shower block has a private accessible facility. Both amenity blocks are connected to fresh water.

We have a playground within our park located close to the Ocean Front BBQ and seating area. Children are to be supervised at all times by an adult whilst using the play equipment and the playground is open during sunlit hours only.

The park also features a giant outdoor chessboard set, exclusively for guest use only. Please contact reception if you’d like to book in a game.

We are pleased to say that we offer WiFi hotspots within the park. Please enquire at reception for the locations of the hotspots and the password. Please note reception in a remote town is not always reliable and therefore we do not guarantee the service.

For guests convenience, a number of leased and independently operated shops are located at the front of the park, including;

Coral Bay Shells

Offering a variety of bespoke jewellery, Billabong beach wear. Call and see Grant he loves a chat, he is a local icon having been in Coral Bay for over 30 years.

Coral Bay Eco Tours

Coral Bay Ecotours, on the West End of Peoples Park Plaza, is the longest running and the only carbon neutral marine interaction tours on the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ningaloo Reef.

Whale sharks, manta rays, humpback whales, dolphins, turtles, incredible fish and amazing coral…. they look forward to providing you with the BEST reef experience ever!

Coral Bay Supermarket

Open 7 days a week during peak season.

The store is the first building on your right as you enter the Park.

They offer a large range and the friendliest staff in Coral Bay

If the store doesn’t have something you need ask the staff as the store operator also owns the other supermarket in town.

Fins Café

Open breakfast lunch dinner, voted best cafe in north west.

Fresh seafood burgers amazing coffee and sweets. Free wifi. C’mon down.

Cabin and villa information

> Check in for accommodation is 2pm and check out is 10am. We shall send you an SMS if your accommodation is ready before 2pm.

> Check out procedure – please ensure bins are emptied, used dishes are washed, dried and put away and used towels are left on the bathroom floor. Please drop your boom gate card and key off at reception or at the drop off box outside the office.

> All accommodation is fitted with reverse cycle air-conditioning, modern decor, a TV and a full complement of linen, crockery and cutlery. Your Coral Bay experience made complete with your very own outdoor balcony to enjoy a ‘coldie’ watching Coral Bay in its finest.

> Guide to using TVs: Turn on TV with remote labelled ‘TV’. Using this TV remote use the source button to select ‘HDMI 1’. Now switch on the satellite box using the remote labelled ‘satellite’. Use this remote to change channels.

> All taps in the Villas and Cabins are drinking water

> Admin after hours phone number – 0475 555 244 (18.00 – 20.00 only)

> For after hours emergencies, excessive noise or maintenance problems, call 0488 994 250

> Towels are washed and replaced every few days, and all linen is changed weekly.

> Our luxury 2 bed hilltop villas are equipped with a coffee machine, coffee pods (extra to be purchased from the office) washing machine and powder and dishwasher with powder

> Please ensure all rubbish is kept inside or in our outside bins to avoid birds and other wildlife being affected

> WIFI – available at the camp kitchen, BBQ area in Ocean Front and the BBQ area by the Hilltop Villas

> Bore water – all sites are bore water. We recommend not to drink or cook with this water.

> Drinking water – available at the camp kitchen and outside both ablutions (if you need to fill your tanks with fresh water, this can be done at our park if you have jerry cans, or there is a water station at the Ampol in town)

> Book exchange – located in the office. One book in, one book out.
