Kalbarri Foreshore- meet the pelicans at 8.45 each morning as they make their way to the grassed area where they are fed by volunteers. There’s a fabulous kids nature playground with picnic tables and cafes and restaurants nearby.

Blue Holes Beach – the thriving marine life makes for spectacular snorkelling, with inter-tidal and protected areas make it a great place to swim too.

Chinaman’s Beach– clear tranquil waters near the mouth of the Murchison River

Jacque’s Point – superb left-hand break, great for surfing

Coastal Cliffs – be sure to check out Natural Bridge and Island Rock, Pot Alley, Eagle Gorge and Bigurda Trail

World-class Fishing – great beach fishing, fishing and crayfishing charters (incl catch and keep) and estuary fishing make Kalbarri a fisher’s paradise. Watch the monthly weigh-ins at the pub by the local angling club.

Quad Biking and Beach Buggy Tours –enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean, cliffs and whales (in season) and the excitement of driving your own quad-bike or beach  buggy to remote locations.

Wildflowers – Jul-Oct 1000’s of species of wildflower bloom. Best locations are the national parks, particularly coastal cliffs and gorges.

Kalbarri National Park – Kalbarri Skywalk, A thrilling walk out along two cantilevered viewing platforms that hang in mid-air 100 metres above the gorge with spectacular views of the Murchison River.

Z-Bend Lookout and Trails – breathtaking views of the Kalbarri National Park, Z-Bend Gorge and river. Also start of the 6km 4-ways walk trail with ladder climbs and steep decent to access the river.

Guided Tours will take you to out of the way places with sightseeing, hiking, canoeing, gorge swimming, star-gazing and adventure tours with abseiling and canoe safaris.
